Rules for Asystole
THERE IS NO ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY IN THE HEART DURING ASYSTOLE, THERFORE THERE WILL ONLY BE A FLAT LINE ON THE RHYTHM STRIP.
Regularity: The rhythm will be a flat line. Rate: There is no rate. P WAVE: There are no P waves. PRI: PRI is not measurable due to no P waves being present. QRS: There are no QRS complexes in this rhythm.
